Cookie policy
Last updated October 9, 2026
The public pages of clicklancer.com, including this one, set no cookies at all. We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind, and we don't load anything from other companies' servers.
Cookies we use
A few cookies are set only in areas you have to be invited to. All of them are strictly necessary for those areas to work. On secure (https) connections, the account cookies carry a __Secure- or __Host- prefix.
| Name | Where | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| cl_demo | Private preview (password protected) | Remembers that you entered the preview password. | 30 days |
| authjs.session-token | Test accounts (invite only) | Keeps you signed in. | 30 days, or until you sign out |
| authjs.csrf-token | Test accounts (invite only) | Protects the sign-in form against forged requests. | Until you close the browser |
| authjs.callback-url | Test accounts (invite only) | Remembers which page to return you to after signing in. | Until you close the browser |
The private preview also keeps its sample data in your browser's local storage so the demo remembers what you clicked. That data never leaves your device, and “Reset demo” clears it.
Why there's no cookie banner
The law (the ePrivacy rules in the EU and PECR in the UK) requires consent for cookies unless they are strictly necessary for a service you asked for. Every cookie above falls under that exception, so there's nothing to consent to. If we ever add a cookie that isn't strictly necessary, we'll ask first and list it here.
Controlling cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the cookies above means the preview and test accounts won't work, but the public site works the same. Questions? See the privacy policy for how to reach us.
